Rompin. And The Past.

Whoop-dee-do. This is me. At the beach of Rompin. It took us about five hours to get here.

Before we head straight over to the resort, here's a picture of us at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch.

The owner of the restaurant was a really nice guy, and also an old friend of Grampa's. He took us all the way out to the resort after we finished our lunch (which was really good).

Upon arrival, me and my cousin (Yee Juinn) simultaneously shouted out: "OH! PERFECT HOLIDAY!", for indeed it seemed so.

The place had amazing scenery, the weather was perfect, the facilities seemed up to standards (far more classy than I had expected), and the whole scene made the look of a travel brochure.

"Wowee" went through all our heads, as we paced back and forth impatiently, waiting for the adults to get their luggage.

Finally we (Me, Juinn, Joo Lee, Joo Ann) got down the rooms, dumped our stuff, and after awhile of indecision, headed to the beach.

This is where I started the story. At the beach.

I drew my name in the sand, being inspired by the "Yee Juinn Rocks", earlier drawn in the sand by none other than that same person mentioned in the inverted commas.

We hanged around for awhile, chillaxing in the water, then went back to our rooms.

Oh yeah, did I mention that our run-of -the-mill chalets(cha-lets) were changed into fully equipped hotel rooms when my grand uncle complained about his cha-let?

We enjoyed the air-con, HBO and Lilo And Stitch that the new room had to offer while eating Mr Potato and Pringles. Now, THAT's living.

We found our little Singaporean cousins going to the beach too, so we went down to the beach again.

This time, we spent more time in the water, playing with starfish(Throwing the starfish as far as we can towards the ocean and shouting "Shooooootingg Starrr!").

However, I must have been a little too cruel to the starfish, cos I got GROUNDED(hint hint). Haahaaaa. Lame.

You're grounded!

Our fun was interrupted. Very rudely. Not to mention illegally, too. There were robbers at Joo Lee and Joo Ann's house, and their parents had already rushed back to Kuala Lumpur.

The scene rather took a bit of a downturn, but couldn't let it ruin the holiday, could we? We went ahead and had our dinner, which was also amazing. My face is blocked by Cincau 3.

After dinner, we went back to the resort to play snooker. Needless to say, my team won both games. Haha! We went back to the room to rest. It was already past twelve then, I think.

We watched a movie about volleyball, then switched over to the Disney channel.

The time is 2 o'clock in the morning. The TV is on. Disney after Disney, we plunged through Lizzie Mcguire, That's So Raven, Black Hole High, and many more. Finally, the lights went off. And life became dark. The Boogeyman arrived.

The second day does not have much of a story to tell. The time spent at the place was brief. Too brief. We went kayaking, which was my first time, and it was tiring. We packed up and left the place for my cousin's birthday party in Melaka.

There IS, actually, one more thing I have to wrap up before I go. Joo Lee and Joo Ann's house is fine. There actually were no robbers, nothing was taken. And the maid next door apologizes for ruining their holiday with a false alarm.

All that's well ends well.

Jun Shern Out.
