100th Post! Happy Anniversary!

I know the background looks a bit like America. Don't complain.

Sheesh.

It's just the colour of Captain America. Not intentionally done. They're nice colours. And this is a nice pic. It also matches my blog.

Guess what? This is my 100th post on this blog! Hooray! Hip-hip! Hooray!

We've had our ups and downs in these posts, some were fun to read, and others less so. And in conjunction with this event, I will have a longer post with pictures and videos.

And now, I will invite myself to officially declare the celebrations open.

*Cuts ribbon*

*Applause*

First things first. The exams and the concert and science night is coming. Exams first, however. Soon after this post, I'll be wishing y'all good luck for the tests.

Have you started studying? I have!
(Not really, this is a fake picture-the book I'm holding isn't even in our syllabus, it's my brother's SAT book-though I really DO plan to start studying soon.)

At least I have the concert to look forward to. This year's theme: Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Tada!!
We were trying to enter ashwin as Juliet, but I'm not sure if it succeeded (Kang wrote down ashwin's name at the Juliet list). Anyway, I don't think they'd accept him. I mean, it wouldn't be very nice, would it?

Haha! Okay, the editing could be better, but, I mean, I can't waste too much time on that. I think it serves it's purpose of delivering the message: ashwin won't be a good Juliet.

For your information, I put my name down for Act 1, just so you know where to go if you want to find me. *wink wink* HAHAHA. Just joking. I'm not that desperate.

And another thing, the prefects are out. And Ashwin, (Yes, now he deserves a capital A for Ass) being a prefect, has been sitting on the teacher's seat ordering students around. Talk about pompous.

Now, where was I? Ah, Science Night. I think I'll blog that one under a different post. After all, we must not stuff too many into one, or you may end up like this cat here.

I think I've covered everything I want to touch on for now. I shall be delivering the Science Night post soon enough.

Oh yeah! One more thing I owe you guys. A video, as I said earlier. Hmm. Let's see. Which video should I display. Something funny. Wait. I've got a better idea! We'll watch Britain's Got Talent!

Presenting... The Bar Wizards!

Cool. I would've shown you their performance for the finals, but for some reason this one is nicer. Okay, we've reached the end of the line. So I shall cheer for myself again:

Happy Anniversary!

Let's See. When Was The Last Time I Posted With A Free Topic?

I enjoy making these free topic posts. Allows a chance for random statements and allows me a chance to let my imagination wander.

In short, it makes one feel free as a bird. Look at this picture of a flying bird.

And you wanna hear a song about free birds? Download it. I'm not so free to go and find you a link or something like that. It's called Freebird. BY Lynyrd Skykard or SOMETHING like that.

I don't know. You'll recognize the name when you see it.

Mmmm. 16 minutes of free-form guitar solos and re-occurring catchy lyrics. Now THAT'S how I like it.

Hmmm. What does my imagination concoct right now? A little dab of fingers, half a pinch of lettering and a tablespoon of imagination, what organism can be added to the circle of life?

Let's see. Hmm. Let's spend a moment wondering what's the meaning of E=MC2.

More than a few people I know have assumed it was Einstein's theory of himself, E being short for Einstein himself. But from there, few people have managed to move on to the next letters.

So what does it actually mean? Here's the real explanation.

And the simplified explanation, as far as I understand it:

E=Energy (Congrats to those who got this right)
M=Mass (This one is also quite obvious)
C=The speed of light (Don't see how it fits but that's the meaning)

In short, the whole equation is nothing but saying that Energy IS Mass. And it also teaches us how much mass is how much energy exactly.

Well, it won't mean much to any of us. Except for those with greater intel than the rest of us.

But I hear this equation has made many scientists pretend they have head-lice (made them scratch their heads). So anyways, I'm getting sleepy and I shouldn't even be online at this time. It's past midnight. Bye.

Life Isn't What You Want It To Be, It's What You Make It To Be.

Yeah, I understand. Life tends to suck sometimes, doesn't it?

Your friends are being jerks,
your teachers are giving you a hard time,
your workload is spilling out of the wagon,
the exams are drawing close and you haven't studied,
your parents are mad at you for bad results,
your responsibilities are being affected by your instability,
people don't understand how terrible you feel, so they
kacau you and make things even worse.

Everything is going downhill.

But hey. Think about the whack-a-mole game.

When you miss the mole in one hole, it's sure to come up through another hole.

What I mean is, you don't have to sit outside that same hole waiting for the mole to come out. What you should do is look at the other holes, and the mole is sure to appear through there.

If you can get your mind off the first hole, and concentrate on some other hole, then only you can hit the mole in the new hole.

And only then will you have the confidence to hit the mole in the first hole when it comes back.

You know the saying "When God closes a door, he opens a window"? Well, that's correct. You have to notice that he opens a window, not a door.

The window will be open, and it will be harder to climb through. And you will start thinking: "Damn, why isn't the DOOR open? Why the window???" So with that kind of mentality, you will have a hard time getting through the window, thus the mind set of:

Life Sucks.

But if you were trapped inside that room and there was no door in the first place, then you wouldn't be complaining about the closed door. Instead, you would be thankful for the open window. Thus, the mind set of:

Life Rocks!

Damn, don't this post sound really deep. Sheesh.

A Collection Of Babies! The Un-Emofier!

Watch these clips of babies! You can't make it through the post without cracking a smile! I swear! You will HAVE to smile at least once throughout! Trust me. Ok. Up first,

The Serious Baby! He rocks!

I told you he rocked! Next in line, Baby Ally!

Did you like that? Next up, well, this is a little dumb but.. Haha. It's still quite funny. Charlie and his brother!

Haha! Okay, next, the laughing baby!

I've just been watching too many of these baby videos. Though a little bit retarded, it's fun to see them. Keep on watching if you have nothing to do. If not,

Performing Arts?

There comes a time, when we heed a certain call...

And we gather, as one.. In the HALL...

Date: Friday the 11th
Time: 2.45pm-5.00pm
Setting: Wesley Methodist School
Event: Leo Club's 6th Annual International Relationship's Day, themed Performing Arts

Starting from the little room beside Chapel, the story began like any other story you might read:

One day, I decided to attend I.R. Day. The choice was one I would not regret. So I, Jeremy, Dylan, and Li Vern, being all in Careers Club, set off together to the hall.

Along the journey we met comrades and enemies, friends and foes, students and teachers. The journey was nothing very interesting, so we shall skip that part.

When one first entered the hall, he or she might think:
Who died?

The entrance was lined with candles and pictures of people, with one candle hanging next to each photo, making it funeral-like. The whole setting was dark and gloomy.

Ten minutes into this graveyard, the program began. Tada!

Negaraku was sung, emcees were introduced, and then we reach the favourite part of every program (As the emcees put it):

Speeches!

Then dances, tongue-tied performances and sing-alongs, slideshow presentations and the best part:

Romeo And Juliet!

Then also the other god-like performance of levitation and tissue swallowing:

The Magic Show!

Now I'm getting tired of this.

If you weren't there in the first place, it wouldn't be fun to read this, anyway.

The only reason I started this post was because I think it was an event worth noting. Not NOTHING, mind you. NOTING. As in N-O-T-I-N-G. Notepad. Get it?

Thank God It's Friday

Let's see. Here are the things I have missed out in my absence:

1. April 1st did not live up my expectations of April Fool's Day, as my plans had failed to fly. Should have started planning earlier. This is something of what I wanted to do, but had no time to brief the whole form, having started planning only the week before.

2. April 2nd-My brother's birthday. We had cake.

3. There were good and bad times. Too many to speak of right now.

Okay. Enough point-formed highlights. Let's move on. Forget about this post. Move on to the next.

Lest there be no next post, thou shalt go to thy next favourite blog.
