Rompin. And The Past.

Whoop-dee-do. This is me. At the beach of Rompin. It took us about five hours to get here.

Before we head straight over to the resort, here's a picture of us at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch.

The owner of the restaurant was a really nice guy, and also an old friend of Grampa's. He took us all the way out to the resort after we finished our lunch (which was really good).

Upon arrival, me and my cousin (Yee Juinn) simultaneously shouted out: "OH! PERFECT HOLIDAY!", for indeed it seemed so.

The place had amazing scenery, the weather was perfect, the facilities seemed up to standards (far more classy than I had expected), and the whole scene made the look of a travel brochure.

"Wowee" went through all our heads, as we paced back and forth impatiently, waiting for the adults to get their luggage.

Finally we (Me, Juinn, Joo Lee, Joo Ann) got down the rooms, dumped our stuff, and after awhile of indecision, headed to the beach.

This is where I started the story. At the beach.

I drew my name in the sand, being inspired by the "Yee Juinn Rocks", earlier drawn in the sand by none other than that same person mentioned in the inverted commas.

We hanged around for awhile, chillaxing in the water, then went back to our rooms.

Oh yeah, did I mention that our run-of -the-mill chalets(cha-lets) were changed into fully equipped hotel rooms when my grand uncle complained about his cha-let?

We enjoyed the air-con, HBO and Lilo And Stitch that the new room had to offer while eating Mr Potato and Pringles. Now, THAT's living.

We found our little Singaporean cousins going to the beach too, so we went down to the beach again.

This time, we spent more time in the water, playing with starfish(Throwing the starfish as far as we can towards the ocean and shouting "Shooooootingg Starrr!").

However, I must have been a little too cruel to the starfish, cos I got GROUNDED(hint hint). Haahaaaa. Lame.

You're grounded!

Our fun was interrupted. Very rudely. Not to mention illegally, too. There were robbers at Joo Lee and Joo Ann's house, and their parents had already rushed back to Kuala Lumpur.

The scene rather took a bit of a downturn, but couldn't let it ruin the holiday, could we? We went ahead and had our dinner, which was also amazing. My face is blocked by Cincau 3.

After dinner, we went back to the resort to play snooker. Needless to say, my team won both games. Haha! We went back to the room to rest. It was already past twelve then, I think.

We watched a movie about volleyball, then switched over to the Disney channel.

The time is 2 o'clock in the morning. The TV is on. Disney after Disney, we plunged through Lizzie Mcguire, That's So Raven, Black Hole High, and many more. Finally, the lights went off. And life became dark. The Boogeyman arrived.

The second day does not have much of a story to tell. The time spent at the place was brief. Too brief. We went kayaking, which was my first time, and it was tiring. We packed up and left the place for my cousin's birthday party in Melaka.

There IS, actually, one more thing I have to wrap up before I go. Joo Lee and Joo Ann's house is fine. There actually were no robbers, nothing was taken. And the maid next door apologizes for ruining their holiday with a false alarm.

All that's well ends well.

(Create New Post)

I owe y'all a post. In fact, I owe y'all MANY posts. The problems are:

1. I've been busy.

2. When I haven't been busy, I've been lazy.

3. I've been waiting for my cousin to send me my pictures of the Rompin holiday, so that I can blog that.

So, I decided, no need to wait for Rompin, just do another post in the meantime.

I'm supposed to do the music one, but I'm to lazy to do that. So that can wait till next time.

Let's update on school. Begin in the morning. The morning was just another morning in school, until... Low. I'm not talking about Mr. Low, my height, nor my BM marks.

I'm talking Flow Rida Ft. T-Pain Low. During morning exercise. Can you imagine doing morning exercise with your school with Shawty got low, low, low in the background?

Us Wesleyans can. Some people liked it, I thought it was an insult. Imagine, next time they might have us dancing to... I dunno, Crank Dat (Soulja Boy), maybe?

Ugh. Anyhoo, after that particular episode, classes started and ended without much cry.

Oh, something worth laughing about was Clement's failure to appear today. Set two maths will understand. And to the other sets, here is the explanation:

Fast fact: Clement regularly skips school every Friday, because(we assume) of the double Maths class on Fridays. So Mano is sick of it.

Mano: Clement, stand up please, hold up your hand like this. Can you pledge to work harder and come to school everyday, even on Fridays?

Clement: Oh, okayyy. I pledge to- What, ah?

Mano: Work harder, and come to school everyday.

Clement: I pledge to work harder, and- What?

Mano: Come to school everyday, and do not skip any classes.

Clement: Come to school everyday. *Looks extremely pleased with himself*

And this is what happened today, which is Friday:

Mano: Aiiiiyoo, this Clement is absent again.

Today is Friday the 13th, did you know? I don't actually know the story behind it. People say it was the day Li Yang was born. Scary thought.

Back to school. Usually I hate Science class, but the last two lessons haven't been too bad, except that I've been forced to say I'm a girl, and my "True Friends" abandoned me during those lessons.

C/S was not quite C/S, since Ganesh didn't show up. So me, Jeremy, and Li Vern spent 45 minutes hanging around being bored(talking).

Hmm. Shoulda picked a more interesting day to blog about. Sorry.

Sweet Symphonies Of Art

"...Fishes."
It's been a long time since I posted. Didn't feel like posting anything, because if I DID post something, it would have to be gruelingly long and contain long and tiring situation descriptions which you probably wouldn't even be interested in reading, as I have no pictures, and I find that people seem only capable to read picture books when it comes to the computer screens.
So I decided not to talk about those things today. Instead, I will open a museum. Of art. Not just the art art, but all pictures and things that may cross my path in my search of artistry.

I like browsing through pictures on the net. As long as there isn't too much pornography, which is extremely annoying when one is trying to find nice pictures and is instead greeted by that.

I'm sure you'd appreciate all the cool pictures and artistry too. Then again, you're going to have to be specific if you want nice, clean pictures appearing on your page.

I mean. Look at this. Beautiful. I can't say I know too much about art myself, but I like what I see.

And THIS. Simply breathtaking. But it isn't real, I think. Looks like a painting, when closely observed. Absolutely amazing.

From hereon forth, I will make no comments on the pictures, as they are too many to comment on all. I beseech you to look at them all, it's not too much to just click the down arrow, I hope. There are some really nice ones here.

And that's the end of today's art gallery. I've half a mind to make a music gallery next post, cos I ran across lots and lots of amazing musicians and talents on Youtube the other day. We'll see.
