There comes a time, when we heed a certain call...
And we gather, as one.. In the HALL...
And we gather, as one.. In the HALL...
Date: Friday the 11th
Time: 2.45pm-5.00pm
Setting: Wesley Methodist School
Event: Leo Club's 6th Annual International Relationship's Day, themed Performing Arts
Starting from the little room beside Chapel, the story began like any other story you might read:
One day, I decided to attend I.R. Day. The choice was one I would not regret. So I, Jeremy, Dylan, and Li Vern, being all in Careers Club, set off together to the hall.
Along the journey we met comrades and enemies, friends and foes, students and teachers. The journey was nothing very interesting, so we shall skip that part.
When one first entered the hall, he or she might think: Who died?
The entrance was lined with candles and pictures of people, with one candle hanging next to each photo, making it funeral-like. The whole setting was dark and gloomy.
Ten minutes into this graveyard, the program began. Tada!
Negaraku was sung, emcees were introduced, and then we reach the favourite part of every program (As the emcees put it):
Speeches!
Then dances, tongue-tied performances and sing-alongs, slideshow presentations and the best part:
Romeo And Juliet!
Then also the other god-like performance of levitation and tissue swallowing:
The Magic Show!
Now I'm getting tired of this.
If you weren't there in the first place, it wouldn't be fun to read this, anyway.
The only reason I started this post was because I think it was an event worth noting. Not NOTHING, mind you. NOTING. As in N-O-T-I-N-G. Notepad. Get it?
